Robert J. Halloran is President and Chief Financial Officer of Putnam Bank. Bob joined the Bank in 2004 as Chief Financial Officer, with over 30 years of banking experience. Previously he was the CFO for Commerce Bank and Trust Company in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Mr. Halloran earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, at Clark University in Worcester, where he also received his Master's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.
Bob has been a teacher since 1987 at colleges including Quinsigamond Community College and Clark University. He currently teaches at the Center for Financial Training and was recognized as their Teacher of the Year in 2006. Also, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Banking.
Bob is a member of the Rotary Club of Putnam, the Mentoring Advisory Council for Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Putnam Redevelopment Agency's Small Business Revolving Loan Fund Committee, and a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut. Bob has been a participant in the Eastern CT Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity of Northeast CT, and he volunteers his time at the Daily Bread in Putnam. He lives in Webster, Massachusetts with his family.
