December 21, 2005: The Board of Directors of Putnam Savings Bank has elected Brenda Engel to the position of Branch Manager/Officer of the Griswold Office and Gina Kolodnicki to Branch Manager/Officer at the Gales Ferry Office.
Ms. Engel started her career in the banking industry in 1986. She attended Mitchell College, has completed numerous American Institute of Banking classes and holds Series 6, 63 and Life Insurance Licenses. Brenda is an Advisory Board Member for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Norwich, a Captain for the American Heart Walk, founding member of Norwich TRIAD and an active volunteer for the March of Dimes, Tommy Toy Fund and Boy Scouts Troop 74. Ms. Engel currently lives in Voluntown with her husband and two children.
Ms. Kolodnicki brings over 25 years of banking experience to her position. Gina graduated with High Honors from the CT School of Finance and Management and holds Series 6, 63 and Life Insurance Licenses. She is a Captain for the American Heart Walk, a March of Dimes volunteer and a founding member of both the Colchester and Ledyard TRIAD Senior And Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.) committees. Gina and her husband make their home in Chesterfield, Connecticut.
Both women were employed as Branch Managers by People's Bank previous to the acquisition of their respective offices by Putnam Savings Bank.
