to Branch Manager of Pomfret Center Office

July 20, 2006: Putnam Savings Bank is proud to announce that Janet Richmond has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Pomfret Center Office.
Ms. Richmond joined the Bank in 2001, working in the Operations Department before transferring to the Customer Service Department. She most recently served as Senior Customer Service Representative at the Main Office and is the Bank's IRA Coordinator.
Janet received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Annhurst College in Sociology with a double minor in Math and Psychology. She is currently working towards her MBA at Nichols College.
Ms. Richmond is an active community volunteer, raising funds for the Deary Road Race, March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She is also a past Treasurer of both the Three C's and Performing Arts of Northeast Connecticut. Ms. Richmond is a lifelong resident of northeast Connecticut and makes her home with her husband and three daughters in Woodstock.
Janet replaces Barbara Goloski as Branch Manager. Ms. Goloski has been named to head up the banking team at the Putnam Price Chopper Office which will be opening later this summer. The new Price Chopper Office of the Putnam Savings Bank will offer the convenience of one-stop shopping and seven day-a-week full-service banking. The hours of the new office will be Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
