Announces Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

August 21, 2006: Putnam Savings Bank will celebrate the opening of its new Putnam Price Chopper Office in the new Price Chopper Supermarket located in the Riverfront Commons on Kennedy Drive in Putnam with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
The Ceremony will be held Friday, August 25 at 8:30 a.m to officially mark the opening of its latest office which offers full-service seven day-a-week banking. The public is invited to join in the festivities from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and refreshments will be served.
As part of the event, a $500 money ribbon will be presented to Father Archambault of Project Northeast. Project Northeast was established in 1978 and, through its collaboration with local social service agencies, assists low-income families in the ten town region of northeastern Connecticut by distributing food, clothing, and furniture, as well as aiding disabled persons in their homes.
