Important Conversion Information for
Savings Institute Bank & Trust Customers

We understand that you may have questions about your particular account(s) and services you presently use with Savings Institute Bank & Trust and how they will be converted to Putnam Bank.
This Conversion Center is intended to provide helpful information to you and answer many of the questions you may have. If you have additional questions not answered here, we encourage you to call Joyce McOsker, Transition Specialist, toll free at 1-800-377-4424, Ext. 3085.

Key Conversion Dates
Following is a list of key dates and other important information concerning the transfer of your deposit accounts to Putnam Bank.
The conversion will take place at Chapman Lane during the weekend beginning Friday, January 30, 2008.
The office will be closed at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30th.
The office will reopen as Putnam Bank on Monday, February 2nd at 8:00 a.m.
· The ATM will be out of service beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30th and will be back in service beginning Tuesday, February 3rd.
· A complimentary order of 200 checks and deposit tickets will be mailed to all personal checking customers on January 16, 2009. Money Market customers will receive a complimentary order of 40 checks and deposit slips. Business Checking customers will receive a complimentary order of 50 checks and deposit slips.
· Replacement Check Cards and ATM Cards will be mailed beginning January 5, 2009.
For Your Banking Convenience
Putnam Bank, located at 39 Kings Highway, will be open until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30th and until noon on Saturday, January 31st.

A complete Welcome Kit was mailed on Monday, December 29, 2008 which includes a Welcome letter and chart outlining your current account numbers and new Putnam Bank account numbers.

A brochure was included in your Welcome Kit, which was mailed during the week of December 29, 2008, detailing the steps to follow to enroll for these services with Putnam Bank. We encourage you to sign up for these services as soon as possible.

If you currently have a personal checking account product with Savings Institute Bank & Trust, you will be receiving a complimentary order of 200 checks and deposit slips from Putnam Bank during the week of January 16, 2009.

· MasterMoney® Check Cardholders
If you currently have a Savings Institute Bank & Trust MasterMoney® Check Card, you will be receiving a new Putnam Bank Visa® Check Card in the mail. These will be mailed beginning January 5, 2009.
For your protection, your new Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be mailed separately a couple of days later.

· ATM Cardholders
If you currently have a Saving Institute Bank & Trust ATM Card, you will be receiving a new Putnam Bank ATM Card in the mail. These will be mailed beginning January 5, 2009.

If you are currently a Putnam Bank Safe Deposit Box holder at the Gales Ferry Branch Office, you will receive a letter concerning your box during the week of December 16, 2008.
